Personal comments on each works

1. AMBIENT MUSIC amplified by hearing aids

- Think about amplification. Most of the music you hear these days are via loudspeakers or headphones, thus amplified. What amplification DOES to you?

- What if some frequency range is only amplified, and the rest not?

- Has the hearing aids changed your view of the environment? Instead of amplifying sounds, how about amplifying your ears?

- Can you hear sounds that are not audible normally? Does it change your sense of hearing? Sense of understanding the world?

2. c – z – k

- What is the difference between "nothing" and "silence"?

- Can you copyright length of time? Can you copyright for example 2'25" without any happenings during the time?

- John Cage foundation does have the copyright of musical piece, SILENCE. No one can make a recording without playing anything calling it SILENT piece.

- Why 2 euro per CD that has 55 tracks containing nothing? Espresso at cafes in Helsinki is 2euro20 - 50 cents. My CD is cheaper than Espresso.

3. DIGITAL MUSIC on paper

- What is written on CD? Digital information? What is it? Isn't it supposed to be music/sound? Can I "see" it and imagine the sounds?

- How are they written? Who/What understands it? Based on what system? Who made the system?

4. SHOOT THE BUTTERFLIES
based on COMPOSITION 1960 #5 by La Monte Young

- Do butterflies make sound? Why not? They are moving wings.. Can we hear it? Probably with hearing aids?

- Too weak sound for us to hear. We should make sound and let butterfly hear our sounds. How about gun shooting?

- How about shooting butterflies and try to listen to the sound when it explores.

- Is it easy to kill butterflies? At least not the real ones.

5. INAUDIBLE CONCERT
The concert starts at 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17:00. The duration of the concert is 45 minutes (15 minutes pause between the concerts).

- Concert hall without any musicians, without audience. Is this going to happen in future if no one interested in classical music live concert?
